Heated analysis hoses, heated pressure hoses and heated hoses for loading and unloading are used wherever liquid or gaseous media need to be transported safely, reliably and at a constant temperature. eltherm develops, designs and manufactures these as application-specific solutions for complex industrial processes.

In analytical technology in particular, heated hoses are used in both fixed and mobile configurations to reliably transport flue gas samples from the sampling point to the analysis system. Continuous heating prevents condensation and ensures precise and accurate measurement results.

Heated pressure hoses are used, amongst other things, in mechanical and plant engineering, the chemical and petrochemical industries, the food industry and the automotive industry. When bonding car body parts in automated production processes, for example, they ensure a constant medium temperature and reliably protect the lines from sticking.

Heated hoses for loading and unloading enable the safe transport of sensitive media at the correct temperature during the handling process and help to reliably maintain flowability even over longer conveying distances.

All eltherm heating hoses ensure precise temperature control, maintain the flowability of the media and provide reliable protection against condensation. They are suitable for a wide variety of applications involving media such as exhaust gases, emissions, oil, wax, resin, bitumen, paints, water, plastics, casting compounds, adhesives or foodstuffs.

Customised heating hoses for demanding applications

Our focus in the field of heating hoses is on customisation. Each heating hose is designed and manufactured in accordance with specific customer requirements. With our products, we can offer a suitable solution for almost any application. Each hose assembly features an integrated heating cable (controlled or self-regulating), thereby ensuring optimum heating and temperature control of the medium.

For specialised analytical applications, the heated hoses can also be fitted with integrated filters. These enable, for example, the removal of particles from flue gases to prevent measurement results from being distorted and to protect sensitive sensors from contamination or damage.

Naturally, eltherm also offers flexible, heated hose assemblies that are suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. Safety, reliability and an application-specific design are always the top priorities.

Construction of heated hoses

A heated hose always consists of an inner core, a temperature sensor, a heating element, insulation, an outer sheath and an end cap. Our customers can choose from a range of materials to suit their requirements, such as an outer sheath made from corrugated stainless steel tubing or silicone. This allows the entire hose system to be customised.
