Smart Limiter

The “Smart Limiter” electronic temperature limiter was developed for use with electrical heat trace heating systems in potentially explosive atmospheres for DIN rail mounting. The Smart Limiter is characterized by a high switching capacity - all-pole up to 30 A - combined with a compact design of 4 DU. The convenient operation and parameterization via Wi-Fi as well as the „smart“ switching behaviour are further features of the limiter. It only switches off when the set maximum temperature is reached, provided the temperature controller has not been deactivated beforehand and there is therefore a critical excess temperature. In practice, this means, for example, that a steam flush of the system can be carried out without resetting the limiter.
