Discover the new generation of self-regulating heating cables.

Our new self-regulating high-temperature heating cables, the ELSR-H+ (up to 210 °C) and the ELSR-SH+ (up to 250 °C), are particularly suitable for industrial applications involving high temperatures, including in potentially explosive atmospheres. Both variants are extremely robust and resistant to chemicals, oil and petrol.

The new ELSR-H+ and ELSR-SH+ heating cables offer four new benefits in addition to their well-known advantages:

1. Durability
The ELSR-H+ and ELSR-SH+ impress with minimal temperature-induced ageing in the standardised cycle test in accordance with DIN EN 60079-30-1. Compared with conventional heating cables, which pass the cycle test in accordance with DIN EN 60079-30-1 but exhibit a reduction in performance due to temperature ageing, our new products show negligible losses in performance throughout the test and beyond. This means that precise power output is maintained even after the duration of the cycle test.

2. Sustainability
As the issue of ‘sustainability’ is close to our hearts, it was taken into account during the development of the self-regulating heating cables ELSR-H+ and ELSR-SH+. By recycling process residues, we achieve significant savings in the use of fluoropolymers during the manufacturing process. As a result, we are already able to reintroduce up to 10 per cent of the heating cable matrix material back into the production process.

3. Weight reduction
The use of new manufacturing processes enables a significant reduction in the weight of the cable drum. This results in a weight saving of up to 15 per cent, thereby reducing the transport weight and simplifying handling on site.

4. Optimised energy consumption
The precision of the manufacturing process ensures that each power level is produced with exact accuracy, allowing the required heating output to be precisely controlled.
