Our proven ELSR-N trace heaters with ATEX and IEC Ex certification are now also available in halogen-free versions. With the -AO HF and -BO HF variants, we are expanding our portfolio with two solutions for applications where reliable frost protection and temperature maintenance go hand in hand with the use of halogen-free materials.

In the event of a fire, halogen-free materials help avoid the release of halogen-containing, corrosive gases. This supports the protection of people, buildings, and technical equipment, making the new trace heaters particularly suitable for safety-critical applications in building services.
Certified technology for demanding requirements.
The halogen-free trace heaters are ATEX and IEC Ex certified and comply with the relevant requirements of DIN EN 60079-30-1 (VDE 0170-30-1) for electrical resistance heat tracing systems in hazardous areas, as well as DIN EN IEC 60079-0 (VDE 0170-1), which specifies general requirements for electrical equipment intended for use in explosive atmospheres.
These new versions combine proven trace heater technology with halogen-free insulation and outer sheath materials, providing greater flexibility when planning and implementing demanding projects.

-AO HF: Halogen-free insulation and halogen-free outer sheath with aluminum foil.
-BO HF: Halogen-free insulation and halogen-free outer sheath with protective braid.
Both versions are available in four nominal outputs. They are also compatible with the accessories used for our existing trace heater range.
