The Smart Limiter electronic temperature limiter was developed for DIN rail mounting when using electrical heat tracing systems in potentially explosive atmospheres. It is characterised by its "smart" switching behaviour, for example it only switches off at the set maximum temperature if an excess temperature is measured and the system's temperature controller doesn't switch off. In practice, this means that the system can be steam flushed without the limiter having to be reset afterwards.
Further technical information can be found on the data sheet.
New limiter, further advantages:
- The Smart Limiter impresses with its compact design and suitability for mounting rail installation.
- It can be added to existing systems – mounting with two mounting clips is particularly easy.
- The electronic limiter is characterised by a high switching capacity of up to 30 A and its all-pole disconnection. This means that longer heating circuits can be realised and the number of temperature limiters required is reduced.
- The Smart Limiter can be conveniently operated using a WLAN-enabled end device (smartphone, tablet, laptop) and any browser. It is not tied to the operating systems of the end devices!
- Compact web interface parameterisation is possible. Parameterisation is carried out wirelessly via a dedicated WLAN – a connection to the Internet and other network components isn't required. The WLAN is named via web interface, whereby it can be named with the corresponding heating circuit number. In addition, a separate WLAN password can be assigned in order to adapt the system security to internal company standards.
- It is possible to install software updates via the web interface. This means that the devices can be updated to the latest version at any time.
