At eltherm, all high-quality heating jackets are tailor-made ...

... and can be used in pipework systems, containers, drums, pumps and valves.

eltherm heating jackets are used wherever a uniform heating of surfaces on more than two levels is required. Due to tailor-made segments, they are very flexible and can be manufactured to fit almost any shape. Their integrated thermal insulation makes heating jackets easy to fit and remove, thus significantly minimising installation and maintenance costs.

Developed according to customer specifications and produced in our own sewing workshop, ...

... eltherm heating jackets are the right solution for any application where more than two levels need to be heated.

Heating jackets are made of textile materials that fit closely to the object that is to be heated. To ensure a long service life,

high-quality materials are used. Each heating jacket consists of an inner fabric, a backing fabric, the sewn-on heating cable, a thermal insulation and the outer fabric.

All heating jackets are manufactured according to customer specifications and are therefore always custom-made! Their configuration is developed and designed by eltherm's application engineers according to their intended use and they are manufactured in our own sewing shop. Due to their tailor-made segments, heating jackets are very flexible and different outputs are possible depending on the configuration.

eltherm heating jackets are used in a wide range of applications such as heating bunker tips, IBCs, fans, micro-dosing pumps, complete test systems or hose connector pieces. Flexible heating jackets are also indispensable in the fields of research and development as well as in nuclear technology.

Depending on their application, heating jackets with a sheet metal outer jacket are used, e.g. when particularly high durability is required under heavy loads.

These special heating jackets are particularly robust due to their structural design. Tolerances in the outer diameter can be compensated for through the use of hinges and adjustable quick-release fasteners. They can also be used in hazardous areas. The feasibility of ATEX-compliant heating jackets depends on the operating voltage, the T-class, the minimum operating temperature, and the dimensions of the parts to be heated.

eltherm heating jackets can also be used in cleanrooms. In cleanrooms, even the smallest amount of contamination from suspended particles can render the products manufactured in these environments unusable. This is why some applications in the semiconductor industry, or the pharmaceutical industry require production rooms with a very high degree of cleanliness. Through their special manufacturing process and the use of innovative materials, eltherm heating jackets help to keep the concentration of airborne particles in the cleanroom at a particularly low level.

FAQ

Heating jackets are always used when surfaces that extend over more than two levels need to be heated. As they are individually developed and manufactured for the individual surface to be heated, they fit perfectly and ensure an even heating.

As heating jackets have integrated thermal insulation and are custom-made, they are easy to fit and remove. This simplifies assembly, shortens installation times and reduces maintenance costs. As particularly high-quality materials are used, the heating jackets also have a long service life.
